Write website articles that answer real customer questions
Plan useful business content with clear topics, original explanations and a natural connection to your services.
December 2025

Publishing articles can help a business explain its services and answer questions before a customer makes contact. The value comes from the usefulness of the explanation, not simply from having a large article count. Start with the questions your team hears during enquiries. These often reveal what a potential customer needs to understand before choosing a provider or preparing a project.
Choose one clear question for each article
A topic such as digital marketing is too broad for one practical guide. A question such as why hotel enquiries do not become bookings gives the writer a clearer job. Identify the reader, the problem and the decision the article should help with. Then decide what information is necessary to answer it.
Use search research to understand wording and intent, but avoid turning a keyword list into the outline. If two planned articles answer almost the same question, combine them or make their purposes genuinely different.
Add original explanation and useful examples
Explain a process, a decision or a common mistake in your own words. Use a hypothetical example when it helps, and label it as an example rather than implying that it happened to a client. If you publish a real project result, verify the facts and obtain the appropriate permission. Do not invent numbers to make a chart look persuasive.
Google's people-first content guidance encourages useful, reliable material that serves readers. Use that as a quality check: would the article still be helpful to someone who arrived from a direct link rather than a search engine?

Structure the page for reading
Use a clear title, a short opening and headings that explain what each section covers. Keep paragraphs focused. A checklist or comparison table is useful when it makes a task easier, but it should not repeat the same advice in a different shape. Add diagrams only when they explain something the text would otherwise make difficult.
Link to a relevant service when the reader needs help acting on the advice. Link related articles where they answer the next question. Avoid inserting the company name or location into every paragraph; natural, specific writing is easier to trust.
Keep dates and maintenance honest
Show the real publication date and use an update date when the content has changed meaningfully. Keep an editorial record so the team knows when facts were last reviewed. Check sources for platform rules and update affected advice when those rules change.
Review which questions the article answers successfully and which still arrive through enquiries. Improve weak sections and remove unsupported claims. Content maintenance should make the article more useful, rather than changing a date just to make it look fresh.
Your next steps
- Choose one customer question per article.
- Use original explanation and clearly labelled examples.
